Murillo Square

This plaza has been the epicenter of Bolivian public life since of public life since 1558. It is the site of some of the city’s most beautiful and prestigious government buildings, including the Government Palace, the Metropolitan Cathedral of Our Lady of Peace, and the Palacio de los Condes de Arana, a magnificent 18th century building housing the National Museum of Art.
